| Smoke Alarms in Boats - Fire Safety |
 Smoke alarm technology has developed significantly during the past several years with more features being available, such as optical sensors, long life batteries and the facility to ‘hush’ the alarm when, for example, cooking food.
It's strongly recommended that boats with overnight accommodation are fitted with at least one smoke alarm. Boaters should use smoke alarms as part of their fire action plan to detect and ultimately escape from fire on the boat.
Early detection of a fire while boating can help deal with a small fire before it gets out of control or give everyone aboard the chance to escape without being overcome by smoke or poisonous fumes, especially while sleeping and that's why unaware of the fire danger.

The first records of boats were found on clay tablets in Egypt, made more than 6000 years ago. We known from the yachting history that Pharaohs in the Ancient Egypt loved to sale by Nile on the boats made of papyrus. It was customary to bury the mummified remains of Pharaoh together with a boat that it was easier for him to travel in the other world. Indian Maharajah also loved excursion cruises by waters of the Kerala river. Phoenicians were considered very skilful shipbuilders. |

 Those, who are travelling around Greece for the first time feel not only mental and physical comfort, but also the true delight with the beauties of the nature and monuments of ancient civilization which are striking one's imagination.
It's generally known that Greeks are living in a museum under an open sky and "sell" rather skilfully history of the richest ancient culture through tourism.
